About Fred Sort

Fred Sort is a gentle, no-ads picture-ordering game for children aged 4 to 7. Four (or three) little pictures appear in a jumble, and your child drags them into the right order — first to last — to win a star. There’s no reading required: every puzzle is an everyday story a young child already knows, like how a flower grows, making toast or a rocket going to the Moon.

Each puzzle has exactly one correct order, set by what really has to happen first: you can’t bake a cake before you mix it, and a seed comes before a flower. Working that out is early sequencing — understanding cause, effect and the words first, next, then and last — a key part of early learning and storytelling.

Why ordering helps

Putting things in order builds the same thinking children use to retell a story, follow instructions and understand the world: what comes first, what happens because of it, and how it ends. There are no timers, no streaks and no flashing rewards — just a few pictures, a gentle drag, and a little star when it clicks.
